For almost two decades, Lucinda Balgooyen has been empowering and advocating for others. For the last eight years, her mastery of Hypnotherapy has allowed her to successfully assist individuals in overcoming obstacles in virtually all areas of their lives.
A few sessions for weight loss aroused Lucinda’s curiosity in this fascinating healing modality, as it offered the optimal solution to channel her desire to support and empower others. She graduated in 2008 from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Madera, one of the most respected hypnotherapy schools in the world. Her teachers, Randal Churchill and Marlene Mulder, are referred to as the “teachers of the teachers” in the field. She is a member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE), the oldest and most respected hypnotherapy certification agency in the United States.
Determined to devote her life to helping others, Lucinda has volunteered as a hypnotherapist, a care home volunteer, and as an advocate for seniors under the Ombudsman and Friendly Visitor programs. She has helped support individuals with disabilities and those struggling with mental health issues and
facilitated the recreational and therapeutic activities for residents at a large retirement community. She has been a senior consultant, contributing to a book assisting family caregivers with guidelines to obtain services for their elderly parents.
